The Bees Road TRILOGY
Rami Ollaik's autobiography, which consists of his first book The Bees Road, followed by a first sequel, UNDER THE GREEN WATER "revised copy", a second A STRAY IN THE BARN. It narrates the life of a boy who became a man during the Lebanese civil war. In light of the congested political atmosphere in the country, the author found himself mired in extremism and sectarian intolerance.
Trying to retrieve his memories in his old hometown before the outbreak of the war, he decided to go on a solo trip to put his personal concepts to the test. Rami was subjected to intimidation and torture; he documents his suffering as he tries to reconfigure himself away from political pressures that he was surrounded by.
